Evershot is a village in West Dorset, England about 9 miles from the county town of Dorchester. It is an increasingly rare village, having a church with a ring of six functional bells (practice night Tuesdays at 7:30pm), a post office/shop, doctors' surgery, primary school, bakery, pub, hotel and light industry, all contained in a community of approximately 200 people.
It is the second highest village in Dorset at 190m (625ft); grid reference ST 573 045, just off the A37 midway between Yeovil and Dorchester.
