Evershot Country Fair

Stalls Policy

Seventy external pitches and twelve pitches in the food marquee will be available.

Four pitches will be reserved for charity stalls providing information, small scale merchandise and games to the public.

A blend of commercial trade, home-produced craft, art, demonstrable rural crafts, cold food and limited hot food stalls will be sought. To ensure variety and limit the competition between stall holders, stalls selling similar products will be limited to between two to three. This does not apply to village resident stalls.

It is intended to have four hot food-to-go pitches available. The current allocation is one pitch for the traditional hog roast and another for a BBQ run by the Friends of Sticklands School (Fossa, charity). Two commercial pitches will be available to provide a different food experience to the public.

A pitch will be reserved when a booking form is sent out, but the pitch will be released if the form and payment are not received by the 25th April.   Booking forms sent out in May and June will have a two week reservation period up to 8th June.

When particular types of stalls are oversubscribed, a reserve list will be maintained. Pitches will then be offered to those on the reserve list when pitches are released.

A fundamental part of the fair planning process and publicity is based on stall holders that have shown commitment to the fair and paid for the pitches in advance. Therefore the fair committee will strongly discourage stall holders from paying on the day of the country fair.
